Technical Name: Resin-Modified Backing Plaster

Gotex BaseTex is a high-adhesion resin-modified backing plaster formulated to create a strong bonding substrate for stone finishes. It levels and reinforces uneven surfaces, while significantly enhancing the adhesion and durability of stone effect coatings and specialty plasters.

Use & Benefits

Improves bonding strength of topcoats, fills and levels minor surface defects, enhances finish durability, and provides a stable foundation for stone finishes such as  DuneStone, or Granicote.

Recommended Areas

Exterior & interior masonry walls, cement plaster, blockwork, concrete panels, and as a preparatory layer beneath Gotex textured or stone finishes.
